January 11, 2005 (Rockwall, TX) – The Rockwall Economic Development Corporation (REDC) is pleased to announce that EmPhysis Medical Management, LLC will build a new 25,500 square foot headquarters facility in the Rockwall Technology Park. The $3,000,000 project will be located at the intersection of Innovation Drive and Observation Trail on a 4.895-acre site. The building is expected to be completed in late Summer 2005.

This medical billing and physician administrative services company adds to the diversity of businesses now located in the Park,” said Carl Jackson, Chairman of the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

Total employment at the new facility will be approximately 120. The company is expects employment to grow to 200 over the next two years. EmPhysis Medical Management was named to The Dallas 100 list of the fastest-growing businesses by the Dallas Business Journal in 2002 and 2003.

The first phase of the 275-acre Rockwall Technology Park opened in 2000. This premier business park is located at State Highway 276 and FM 549 just south of Interstate Highway 30. The Park now includes eight businesses with three subsidiaries of Fortune 500 companies. Total existing and planned building area in the Park is approximately 668,000 square feet. The Park has attracted $48 million in new investment.
